This 3D Resurrection Shadowbox is a fun Easter project to make to celebrate the holiday. It does have small pieces and takes about 2 hours to make. A scoring tool is required for this project. Scoring lines in the files must be assigned before the project is cut. The design includes a .25″ spacer to place inside the shadow box to add string lights if you want to add them.

This shadow box design contains high quality files that have been created to work for crafting cutting machines, like Cricut, Silhouette and ScanNcut. Video assembly and additional general instructions are provided.

– (1) 8.5” x 11” Vellum (layer to diffuse light for lighted areas)
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Clear Acetate for the shadow box window (optional)
– (2) 12” x 12” and (3) 8.5” x 11”Card Stock, White
– (1) 8.5” x 11” and (1) 12” x 12” Card Stock, tan
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Dark Brown
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Green
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Purple
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Dark Yellow
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Yellow
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Gold/ Shimmer
– (1) 8.5” x 11” Card Stock, Gray

Everything Else:
– Light Grip Mat
– Adhesive for Paper
– Scoring tool
– Scotch tape or double-sided tape to adhere the acetate (optional) to the shadow box lid
– Scraper or something to add curl to some pieces. I used the scraper that came with my Cricut tools.
– String lights (optional)- I used 30 count for more light but you could use less count for the lights
– Yellow marker or colored pencil to add a speck of color to the inside of the small lilies (optional)

DXF: for cutting machines (like Silhouette Basic) or some laser machines

To use the zip file:

• Download the file from the link provided in your email.
• Open or “uncompress” the .zip file that was downloaded to access the individual .svg, .png, .dxf, .pdf and .eps files using your “unzipping” program. Occasionally, file extensions (such as the .svg) may not display properly based on computer settings or operating systems. The .svg may appear as a web browser icon (like Chrome or Firefox). Regardless of the way the icon appears, it is still an .svg and should import into your program. If this happens and there are issues using the files, I can send the files directly to your email instead of downloading the .zip file, which typically resolves the issue.
