Are your designs original?
Yes! All of the designs you see on this site are original designs created by myself. They are hand drawn and I never use AI to generate any designs or pieces of designs. I feel that AI takes away from the complete originality and character of the whimsy and style of Chesed Cottage Crafts.
How can I retrieve my files?
You will a receive an email from us with a link to access your files.
Download the file from the link provided in your email.
Open or “uncompress” the .zip file that was downloaded to access the individual .svg, .png, .dxf, .pdf and .eps files using your “unzipping” program. Occasionally, file extensions (such as the .svg) may not display properly based on computer settings or operating systems. The .svg may appear as a web browser icon (like Chrome or Firefox). Regardless of the way the icon appears, it is still an .svg and should import into your program. If this happens and there are issues using the files, I can send the files directly to your email instead of downloading the .zip file, which typically resolves the issue.

If you are using a phone or tablet, you may have to download an app to enable you to unzip the .zip file format.

I do not see an SVG file in the download or the file icon and description does not indicate the file is an SVG. File icons and file type not displaying properly.
Occasionally, customers may encounter issues where certain file formats (mainly .svg) do not display correctly after downloading and opening the .zip file. The files may appear as a different format. All files provided are in .svg, .png, .eps, and .dxf formats in the initial download. You should be able to import these file(s) into your software even though the icon or file format is not displayed correctly.
For those experiencing this issue, below is a helpful video link for this recently known windows issue. If the video doesn’t resolve the problem, I can send the files directly to your email, which normally fixes the problem. Feel free to message me and I will be happy to send the files.
What machines can your files be used with?
There are a lot of different machines that our files can be utilized with. Some common machines are Cricut and Silhouette. Files are also available for laser machines, like Glowforge and xTool. You can also use the .png format for sublimation. There are many others in addition to these that the files can be used in.
I test all of my cut files in Cricut Design Space and Silhouette and the laser files are tested with either Glowforge or xTool.
Do you create custom designs?
Yes, for a custom design price I can create a unique design. You can reach out to me using support@chesedcottagecrafts.com.
Can your designs be found on other platforms?
While this main Chesed Cottage Crafts will have the complete volume of all of my designs, I do also post designs on Cricut, Etsy, Jiffy, xTool and Creative Fabrica. This website includes access to exclusive designs, freebies, and extra fun crafting content.
